When you select Formats from the Main Menu, you see this dialog.

The Formats Database has 3 pages; you cannot add or delete any pages. Page 1 controls how the Schedules are formatted. Page 2 controls how the Sign-In Sheets are formatted. Page 3 controls how the Database Listings are formatted.
The 3 pages are initially filled out with data that gives good results in most cases. If you are not having a formatting problem, you do not need to change the Formats Database pages.
TIP: You can always reformat your documents in your word processor. However, using the Formats Database to get the right formatting will save you time.
Be sure to stay with a fixed-spaced font such as modern Courier. The columns on your documents will not line up correctly with proportionally-spaced fonts such as Times or Arial.
The font size in points determines the size of the printed type. The bigger the number, the bigger the type.
Your word processor may only allow certain font sizes.
Be sure not to set the margins smaller than your word processor or printer will allow.
Type in the paper size you will be using to print. You can use letter size, legal size or any other size your word processor and printer can support.
Normal documents are printed in Portrait orientation -- the height is greater than the width. (Example: 11 in. height, 8.5 in. width.) If you want to print in Landscape orientation, set the Paper Size such that the width is greater than the height. (Example: 8.5 in. height, 11 in. width.)
TIP: If a line is too long and wraps around to the next line, try smaller left and right margins and/or a smaller font size and/or switch to landscape orientation.
TIP: If the print “spills” off the bottom of the page onto the next page, try a smaller number for Maximum lines per page. If you get too much margin at the bottom, try a larger Maximum lines per page.
